Temporary Project Management Expert
A project manager or PM will lead on the delivery of a large/complex project on behalf of the clinical board. They will follow the CAV way and ensure correct documentation and utilisation of appropriate project tools are undertaken, for example; PID, business case, project plan, risk and issue log. The PM will provide assurance to the project board, progress updates and escalate issues. They will manage the project and work with stakeholders to ensure delivery to time, cost and quality, including:
Correctly resourced projects which therefore have a higher chance of success
Robust project governance/documentation in place to deliver the project effectively
Collaborative working relationship fostered
Reinforces training to ensure concepts are applied in practice.
Spread and scale of project management good practice enabled
Temporary Service Improvement Expert
A service improvement manager will work alongside a team on a specific project or programme of work, providing expertise, facilitation and training on quality improvement methodology, tools and techniques for a predetermined period, including:
Impartial advice and a fresh-eyed perspective
Bring a focus of understanding to the real the problem/issues and steer the stakeholders to avoid jumping to the solution without any accurate measurement or data analysis
An expert facilitator who will ensure all stakeholders are engaged and committed
Upskilled staff through increased knowledge and capability building of quality improvement
Using our an extensive network, the service improvement manager will be able to pull in other experts from across the UHB
Knowledge of similar improvement projects to tap into from across the UHB
